Community Relations Coordinator (2006-2008)

Maintained charitable giving database for Cox Arizona which tracks over $3 million in donations made annually to local schools and charities. Worked closely with community partners including Phoenix Suns/US Airways Center and Arizona Diamondbacks/Chase Field to maintain suites. Provided administrative support for team including vendor payments, meeting schedules, correspondence and follow-up phone calls.  
  • Co-planned and implemented annual Cox Charities annual giving campaign and picnic awarding $445,000 in grants to 65 non-profit agencies throughout Arizona.
  • Planned and implemented the Cox High Speed Internet Zone which hosted approximately 300 visitors daily at the 8 day 2008 Barrett Jackson event. Researched, tested and help deploy corporate giving database management software to all 18 Cox systems nationwide resulting in more accurate and timely information.
  • Built relationships with local charitable organizations in conjunction with sponsorships and event logistics/planning.  

Sales Coordinator, Residential and Third Party Retail (2004-2005)  


Managed sales contractors with a total of 10 door-to-door sales representatives. Improved customer experience for approximately 30 customers monthly by answering customer questions and resolving customer complaints from new and existing orders.
  • Built relationships with other departments to improve customer experience after the sale.  
  • Established automated process using Access database for paying commissions to sales contractors resulting 90% fewer errors and shortened payment of commissions from 30 to 15 days.
  • Coordinated internal and external resources to arrange connectivity in retail partner stores resulting in 100% more live demonstrations used to sell Cox services.
  • Provided on-going training to sales contractors that updated their knowledge of Cox Residential products and services to better serve the customer.  

Facilities Coordinator (2002-2004)


Monitored electronic tracking system for incoming maintenance requests from Phoenix and Tucson offices. Investigated 200 plus building maintenance complaints monthly. Acted as corporate liaison for Maricopa County trip reduction program.  Worked closely with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products or services. Created vendor payment tracking spreadsheet.
  • Provided administrative support to director and 4 managers and 3 facilities technicians.
  • Maintained supplies for Xerox copy center and 12 other offices throughout the Valley.
  • Audited bills for accuracy to insure timely payment to vendors. 
  • Improved visibility and usage of the mandated trip reduction program. Increased employee participation by 10% and established on-going communication program.
